that could be the excuse for u to go find ur gf! :)
veightkiller 01-23-2005, 01:01 AM u might want to try petro canada ..and apply for the petro points cards so you can save couple of buck's with ur purchase...but it depends on how much u pump....my full tank is worth $47 depends on the price and i get $4 bucks off...it's not that much but $4 bucks is $4bucks....
aspect 01-23-2005, 01:04 AM chevron 94 or die!
anonymous_wolf 01-23-2005, 01:05 AM i have petro card~ ;)

Gethin 01-23-2005, 01:49 AM Monday and Thursday on average are the cheapest, usually during the daytime off peak hours.

5Z, i'll check it out later...maybe...>,<
my friend is actually going to fill gas there...good luck :)
i just decided to go for 77.4 (pump price)...haha
veightkiller 01-23-2005, 02:49 AM what kind of gas do u guys pump??? regular?? on ur subaru's??? the price ur sayin' it's just the regular gas not the premium one or 94 oct.
alexs001 01-23-2005, 03:08 AM 5 cents/litre coupon for superstore is the best gas deal, IMO
Gethin 01-23-2005, 03:23 AM I use Chevron 94 and usually pay between 85c and $1 per litre.
feiron 01-23-2005, 04:35 AM the cheapest chevron is the one on Hasting and Willingdon.... its the closest station to chevron main tanks...
dmatthew 01-23-2005, 05:01 AM I find that the petro near the airport is lower [than] the other stations in richmond
vf500 01-23-2005, 12:02 PM If you are heading down to Lynden,Sumas or Blaine - with the good exchange, gas is now $0.57/L Cdn for Regular and $0.66/L for Premium. Those #'s are comparing L to L in Cdn $$.
So quite a savings for those near the border.
grimbeaver 01-23-2005, 01:51 PM i usually find sunday late afternoon early evening is the cheapest
anonymous_wolf 01-23-2005, 06:51 PM went for gas last night at around 11pm at the petro besides brentwood mall
76.4 pump price! :D
i just use regular gasoline...don't think premium fuel is necessary for my car now, maybe later when i start working on internal engine mods...(later = a few years...lol)
superstore's gasoline aren't that clean i heard...so i'd just stick to petro and cheveron...plus i don't go buy food at superstore so often now...
veightkiller 01-23-2005, 07:00 PM ^^^there's a minimun octane for your engine right??? if you put lower octane more often ..dnt u think it wont affect ur engine internals and stuff??????
Penphoe 01-23-2005, 07:15 PM You should always run the highest octatne rating as possible. I run 108 octane leaded gas because it's the best.
Read your manual for the recommended octane level for your vehicle. Remember, not all people drive the same vehicle here on VIC.
LaterZ!
Darren!!
veightkiller 01-23-2005, 07:21 PM ^^ where do you get that stuff..the highest i can get is 94 oct at petro.....
anonymous_wolf 01-23-2005, 08:35 PM 2.5RS uses regular fuel...
Mr. Dumpling 01-23-2005, 11:30 PM ^^ where do you get that stuff..the highest i can get is 94 oct at petro.....
He was being sarcastic. Subaru non-turbo engines are tuned for 87 octane fuel, they perform worse on higher octane fuel. Even the turbo engines only need 94, you don't need to go any higher unless you do much higher boost/compression engine mods.
108 octane is race fuel, IIRC, and overkill for any stock street car.
grimbeaver 01-23-2005, 11:51 PM my minimum is 91 but i try to gas up 94 whenever its cheap.
polaris 01-24-2005, 05:41 PM any issues with any companies? I've heard Shell is not good, or used to not be good for some reason. Its near my house tho :p
There is this site also http://www.vancouvergasprices.com
lummer shawn 01-25-2005, 10:20 AM ive had trouble with petro can gas, and water in their tanks.
anyways, i use mohawk/husky for my gas, and when i was in silverdale on the weekend (between maple ridge and mission) it was 62.4 while maple ridge was 82.9.
and in silverdale there is a husky, brand new shell, and (super save?) i think.
anonymous_wolf 01-25-2005, 10:38 AM ive had trouble with petro can gas, and water in their tanks.
really?!!
never heard anything bad abt their gas nor had i encounter one tho...
anyways, basically i only use gas from petro and cheveron, but a friend of mine told me that petro's fuel last longer (ie, gives better milage) in his camry V6 than cheveron, besides petro is right outside my home~lol, so i use petro most of the time...
oh, btw, for mercedes owners, there's a chemical in cheveron's gas that will damage the gas cap, so stay away! *MB finally told my friend abt this after their gas cap was broken and replaced by MB at service a year after they bought the car... *
grimbeaver 01-25-2005, 11:57 AM i only use petrol because of petrol points... i can get free water! haha
Tricky 01-26-2005, 04:27 AM Slightly OT:
Mowhawk 94 is the same price as Chevron 92. IIRC.
MoonDougie 01-26-2005, 11:42 PM Chevron is a better gas :D
Deziwoo 01-27-2005, 01:52 AM GAS AND RUN!!!! now that's cheap! hehe jk jk
normally i fill with either mohawk or chevron.... 94 only
and when i feel like spoiling my car..... i put some injector cleaner in it or wutever.... hehe
anonymous_wolf 01-27-2005, 02:24 AM oh yeah...haven't use injector cleaner for such a long time...
coz i haven't fill up for a long time...*it says use when u fill up the tank....*
i'll just do that next time...
