Ok this is whats going on, I'm in VA the temp out here is about 20 degrees and I i am hearing squeeking from some of the doors and whats sounds like a cracking sound BUT no cracks, coming from the rear window when i drive, specially when the body flexes pulling up to a slighly sloped drive way etc.. does anyone know if this is a normal thing for STI's? my car is fairly new and has not been in any accidents or nothing. IF anyone can give me some imput on this, it would be great.

I think alittle bit of squeaking is normal in just about any car. As for the cracks, maybe parts of your windows have frost/ice on them... that might be the cracking noise when your car body flexes.

I have a similar thing in my 02 WRX. It sounds like 2 plastic pieces rubbing against each other right by the rear window. I CAN NOT figure out what it is and it's starting to drive me nuts.

My '05 does this too. Totally normal - a car is not a rigid body - it does flex - differential loads WILL make it creak a littel bit.

yeah mine recently got louder becayse there was snow and ice in every nook of the car due to the recent storm.

oh ok good, i just was a little paranoid i... the sound was very noticible...

everytime i pull up to my driveway, i can hear a slight crack coming from the front end of my vehicle.. no accidents

Do you hear this noise in the cold weather or this is at all times, i started hearing mine like at 20 degrees outside.
