i have the brand new green that has a internal set up. fp is welding the door shut later this week.

now i know on the up pipe you need the wastegate ie im going to get a tial 38mm but what flanges do i need or what else is needed to make it work. I have a electronic boost controller blitz if that helps?/

i do weld but wondering where is the wastegate supposed to go. I know on the up pipe but is one place better than another. I have the gt spec up pipe.

does anyone have pics of external wastegates to help me out

thanks

Below is my ultimate racing uppipe i ran with my 8cm green.. If you are goingto weld it yourself you are going to need theflange that connects to the 38mm gate, and some SS pipe to make the dumptube with..

U can run the blitz with it just mae sure you hook it up correctly for the external and switch its settings from ac(actuator) to WG(external wastegate)

so all i need to do is run what a 2 inch pipe off of the downpipe in the place you have it and get the flange so i can weld it so wastegate will get bolted to that.

then the dump just run like you did. now im wondering if there is anyplace else that would be better or less seen. thanks again man i apprecaite this. im guessing external wg green makes about wheel hp more

for the love of god, I wish a vendor would just make a complete kit that doesn't need fabrication. I want to upgrade my turbo, but I don't want to get into a bunch of custom work and have to buy a whole new exhaust system. Sorry for the rant, just frustrated :furious:

No the green fits on stock location. i just want to hit 450 whp on 118 octane. i put 5 gallons in every tank and then rest 1/2 tank of super. i dont drive the car everyday

$1000 is the bill. No one ever said the ext wastegate is a cheap proposal, but still.

Cheers

By the way in the "other" BAIC forum it was a post that gave pointers where to go locally to fab exhaust etc...
