When my car is stopped and running, my air vents are sucking in a lot of exhaust fumes even when there is no car in front of me. To me this means there is some sort of leak in the exhaust manifold, and it's not just my car sucking on the fumes of another. I took the car to the dealership and they said they could not find anything wrong with the car and gave me a line about the car running rich because of the cold weather . . .

Has anyone else had this problem?

I had it when I had a leak in my exhaust right around the cat. It was audibly noticeable though, if you have a leak you should be able to hear it, especially if you scoot your melon under the car.

Time to do some snooping this weekend - I hope it stays above freezing :)

I have also noticed a louder than normal exhaust only on hard acceleration - so it may be a small leak.
