Ok all...I wanted AEM and I got one...however my car year and model is not in the application guide lines...they have 03'-04" OBS's..but not my year...I guess Subaru decided to make mine alittle different. I bought it anyway knowing there would be some differences. The difference I was aware of was my car does not have an IAT sensor, so I plugged the hole on the CAI for that....HOWEVER, under the IAT sensor section is a breather hose that is now free to roam..until I can determine if I should simply plug it..or maybe route it into another breather hose...suggestions!? Thank's.

Update: I held my hand upto this homeless hose and it's blowing out...with the compression of the motor..is this an EGR valve?

picture of the hose?

tee it into another breather hose that runs into the air intake tube.

Its not an egr valve.

I was pretty sure it wouldn't be anything like an EGR valve lead off or whatever...after installing the intake in the cold for 2 hours at a whole whopping 14 degrees..I was kinda numb...my father looked at it and he said it's probably the crank case vent tube....put's the fumes back into the airbox...I'm going to either T it into another breather hose, or make it fit into the IAT sensor hole..with some modification, I'm thinking it would be best to keep it seperate if it's a vent house vs. with a breather hose...Subaru had is seperate, so I'll try to keep is seperate..I'll keep this updated with pic's..so if anyone else with a 2002 OBS want's to install a AEM, they'll know the few differences ahead of time....thank's for the advice..

I'm thinking about running it into the hold for the IAT sensor on the AEM CAI...suggestions.
