 hey guys..before you post the FAQ ..i have checked them for my situation..and none of them apply!
I have infinity 6001 co-axle speakers and tried installing them but they sound like crap .. i was told to sound right i would need composite speakers in the door to use the stock tweeter. how can i wire the infinity co-axle speaks with out eliminating the stock tweeter for now and not useing a crossover. I noticed that there are 4 wires going to the one front speaker harness... i have tried disconnecting the tweeter but it still sounds like there is a filter ............. filtering the bass from the infinitys

You were probably told you needed "component" speakers, with a new tweeter replacing the stock tweeter.
Your coaxial infinity speakers can not be easily separated into woofer and tweeter (that's why they cost less than component speakers), so you're stuck with connecting the speaker wires to them. If you don't like the OEM tweeter, just unplug it.
The two ways to get better bass response are to (a) remove the plastic door panels, remove the clear plastic moisture barrier, and apply a sheet of mat (Raammat, dynamat, whatever) to the door metal, covering up *all* the openings just like the moisture barrier did, but in a much more rigid form and (b) get an amp to provide more power (the stock HU can only supply something like 7 or 8 w/ch RMS; might be a bit more, like 12, on the '05 HU). After going to all this trouble, you will probably find the sound dramatically further improved by tossing the coaxials and buying a decent pair of components to go with the amp and matting.

Thanks :D ...If i go with the component speakers is there a stock crossover that i have to remove that i cant see? The four wires that come to the wiring harness do i run the wiring from there to the crossover then to the tweeter?
Thats why i ask if there is a stock crossover some were before the the wiring harness in the door.....dont think i would want to run it through two crossovers...the one i install and the hidden one befor the harness if there is one.
And my secound question is .....is it ok to stay with the co-axle speakers in the rear door?

Some audiophiles (emphasize some) say that good coaxs actually reproduce sound better than components which are separated, as yours (and mine) would be in this setup, so I'd disconnect the tweeter wiring and see if the sound improves...the speaker wiring for the stock tweeters is simply additional speaker wiring; it can be disconnected without any effect and there's no stock crossover, is my understanding. You can put coaxs in the rears with no problem. If I had it to do over again, though, I might choose dedicated midbasses for the rear and put them in sealed enclosures in the rear deck.
