Go to them and ask them about the warranty being void. I know someone that pushed a little saying that their attorney was going to be calling them in a few minutes and they changed their mind back.....so the warranty wasnt void.

Your warrenty can never be "voided". If you haven't modified your suspension, there's no reason they should decline repair, but I'd bring the car to another dealer anyway.
What driveline repair did they decline?
1st off... a ball joint isn't part of the suspension...
Extra power means extra stress on the parts that may not be able to handle it.
If they voided your powertrain warranty, I'd agree that ball joints shouldn't be covered.
However, if your strut broke, or your radio stopped working... then you should still be covered.
But then again... I don't know how warranties work in Canada...they could be quite different than in the US.

Same.. But there has to be somewhat similar guidelines that would apply to warranties... I hope! :P
I have a stg 2.5 rex with no suspension mods, and my front left strut blew out last week, when I took it in for making noise, he gave me the whole "Well, I dunno about this man, since you have more HP than stock I'm assuming we won't be able to repair this" speech.
He says that every time, and then makes me sign a "subject to $45.00 inspection fee" notice, in case the claim is denied. Big whoop. That's against my protections by the magnuson moss warranty act (having a warranty repair denied because of another non-influential factor)
Anyhow, it was replaced under warranty. And I've never, ever touched my suspension, so things worked out how they were supposed to.

they aren't supposed to deny anything at all that they can't determine was the direct cause of abuse, modification, etc. and if they give you a hard time, there's really not much you can do beyond having a good talk with the service manager on why this claim should not be denied. i.e. the magnusson-moss act is pretty worthless because in order for someone to force it, you get lawyers involved and it costs you more than what its worth anyway.
i work in the car business so i do understand both sides, but imo subaru is making me turn towards yet another brand for my next car  . it seems that all you have to do is be a young guy driving a wrx and poof! we can't cover that because you sent in your free scca membership
<never broung my car in for a claim btw>

If your car has a salvage title or is suspect of odometer fraud, they void the warranty 100% no questions asked ;). I don't even have rust perforation warranty anymore
