...but I can't figure out exactly what parts I'm going to need. I have a 1995 WRX engine in the car, which is basiclly stock. I do not need a complete stand alone system. Just something so that I can adjust the fuel and timing settings, and have the option to upgrade a little more in the future.
I did have a couple of questions about it, that I couldn't figure out through a search. Can I control the boost with the emanage in it's "stock" form, or do I have to get more harnesses? Can the emanage control any other functions, like a waterspray kit?
Thanks.
Jim

JimThe E-manage is worthless without the Profect E-01 unit.Plus the Instruction come in Japanese but i think you can download American instructions. It doesnot have the capability like some of the more popular stand alones. It is a basic piggyback and also can only control injectors 150% over stock. So if you got 100cc,it can handle up to 250 cc.It will not handle water spray. It does have the ability to monitor extra external sensors except wideband.I would check into the SMT-6 www.perfectpower.com

the emanage can control a water injection kit. there are current threads int eh yahoo group and the message forums about this right now. To do so you use the additional injector fuel map to control the solenoid for water spray.
Wideband logging: You can do this as well. If you do not use the greddy MAP sensor, you can use the MAP sensor input to log 0-5v input.
When you install the emanage, you want to not hook up the TPS signal to the emanage. Hook up a MAF or MAP signal to it, and then you will be tuning load vs RPM instead of TPS vs RPM ( kinda worthless)
i was about to flame you on a emanage for a wrx till i read that it was a 95
being an obd-0 its probbaly a pretty good match for the price if you can find the dial/switch setting and wiring setup

so you want to hook the map or maf to the TPS input or just leave the tps disconnected?
What happens when you peak your maf or map?

the greddy pressure sensor input is a separate input than teh two air flow inputs the emanage has. When you peak your original metering device, the emanage uses the pressure sensor to measure engine load and you usee ths additional injection map to directly add pulsee width to the injector output signal from the ecu.
If you have scaled injector sizes, I think the output signal is created by using the pressure sensor.

Greddy sells a 3bar MAP sensor to be used with their products if you need it.You just tap into a vaccum line and mount the sensor to the firewall. As far as the MAF you can rescale/recalibrate it alittle.
