Does anyone know the specs needed to run UTEC / Tuna Pro software on a laptop?

MHz?
Ram?
HDD?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.....

Unless something has changed a bit as long as your computer can run hyperterminal you can talk to the Utec. My friend is using a P1 90MHz. :)

The only "software" you need is a terminal package.

Most people use...
- Hyperterminal (comes with many versions of Windows, starting with Win95)
- Hyperterminal Private Edition (downloadable, google it up)

Hell, you could do it on a DOS computer if you really needed to, using something like Procomm Plus or Terminate.

So, to answer your questions... not much.

Just got off the phone with TurboXS.....thought you guys might want to know.

They reccomend a Pentium I or above with a Win95 OS or newer.....anything from that point up is good.

Teraterm (free terminal emulator, use Google) works pretty slick too.

I've run it off my effing Palm. You don't need aything besides a vt100 compatible terminal application and a serial port.

I run a 386 66MHz to tune Utecs. As long as you can run a VT100 sesion you can talk to the Utec.
