I have a Walbro 255 LPH pump that worked fine up until a few weeks ago.
My 02 WRX was hit hard in the left front. While at the body shop, the fuel pump stopped turning on. 12 Volts can be run to the fuel pump and it comes on. I have a LINK 44s ecu. I am wondering if there is some sort of a safety shutoff or something that I have missed. I have been without my car for almost two months now, and it will not crank.

this is a shot in the dark but many cars have a circuit breaker(not what it is but right concept) that will kill the fuel pump when the car is rolled or in a severe accident. I am not sure if Subarus have this or where it would be but it might be your problem.
Good Luck

BTW
you may want to post in the appropriate engine forum as they may be more appropriate than EM forum

This is true, my 89 Ford Bronco II that I just happened to roll had one of these, and it was under the dash. This poses a good question, does the Subaru have fuel pump shutoff switch. I have always wondered, but never asked. I would think it would, and if it does, can it be reset by the user?

I'm about 80% sure that Subarus don't have an inertial cutoff switch. Every car I've ever owned and/or driven that had one had a button or switch for it someplace. My Scoob and the several others I've driven and worked on don't have them anyplace. Trace your wiring back from the pump to the relays and whatnot and check for breakage and stuff. My $0.02, anyhoo.

Check the fuel pump controler and the fuse to the controler. The controler is located in the trunk behind the trim panel. It varies voltage to the pump based on a signal from the ECU. The link varies this in two steps. This prevents the Pump from over heating when fuel damand is low. If you need a new controler we have stacks of them used instock.
