Lachlan 02-06-2005, 03:36 PM Oh, I see, heat bad. Lachlan 02-06-2005, 06:02 PM Uncle Scotty, I saw your battery install under the passenger seat and it looks nice, but I have a couple of questions: 1) Why did you get the heat shield if the battery is inside the car? 2) Where do your cables connect (have you pictures)? 3) What gauge wire did you use and how much weight do you think you gained from the extra wiring? Great mod.....the front of the car 'points' MUCH better and it 'wallows' less. afpdl 02-07-2005, 12:27 AM Ive had that battery for about a year now. Its been discharged twice(car was down for a month) but besides that its never had any problem starting the car. But Im in houston so it only has to deal with the heat, not cold. You just have to make sure when you turn the car off, you turn it off. No listening to the radio or leaving interior lights on for long periods of time. I never understood why anyone would by a braile battery, it is more expensive then the hawker/odessy and isnt any better.
