i saw the b9 tribeca has a navigation system... think the other 06's will have them too? (kinda heard a rumor from my subie dealer that the legacy will have it)

Yes, the '06 Legacy's WILL have the navigation system in them. This was confirmed by Robert Reed at Wentworth Subaru here in Portland Oregon. They have the slot for them and the JPN models and the UK models had them as an OPTION for the '05 models. Looks like NA took a year to decide if they wanted to have that as an option.

Not sure about those. All I know is he said that the Legacy's will have that as an option.

I don't really see the point in the Impreza's having it, the Foresters, yeah I can see that, but chances are it'll go in:

Outback
Legacy
Legacy GT
Forester 2.5XT

I don't really see the point in the Impreza's having it,

because of the price point? or b/c Impreza drivers don't get lost as much. :p

That's like putting navigation in a Datsun or something. It defeats all reasoning... Wait a minute car makers have reasoning? Ok I reattract my statement, the STI will have Navigation. :p

they had it for awhile now, no?
