I know this was already covered but i have been searching and searching and cant find the post of how to remove the interior of the 05 either it was the sti or wrx and change everything to red. i know there are the other threads about it but i am looking for that one in particular. to me it looked like the closest red to factory you can get and was looking to do the same. thanks for your help and sorry for the repeat.

no, there was one i was looking for which explained how to take apart the center console of the 05 and explained which parts to buy from radio shack and how to change it to red along with a picture of the finished product. thanks but i already looked at the sticky and its not the one i was looking for.

You won't be able to change the HVAC or radio to a decent looking red, IMO... The green color comes from the plastic that makes up the HVAC dials and the radio display... You could replace the stock white LEDs with red ones, but you'd still have red shining through green and I bet it wouldn't look all that great. The best you can hope for is the cigarette lighter trim ring and the key illumination ring.

that wasnt the exact post but its close enough. it looked just as good as that. thanks a lot for the find. i know i found the post here on nasioc but that thread is just as good. maybe there is hope for some good looking stock radio options.
