hi, im not too good at electrical stuff, but i was able to splice into the tach wire of my old car to get this shift light to work just fine (+ power and ground).
So i just need to know where the RPM / tach wire is in a 04 STi. If anyone can help me find this i would be very happy, my searching hasnt found much help.
pics would be awesome too if anyone has some! thanks in advance!

You'll need to pull the gauge cluster(tach/speedo/etc) out. Remove the paneling surrounding that, a few screws. A few more that hold the cluster in place I believe. On the back of the cluster is three harness plugs. One that is behind the tach, another behind the speedo, another behind fuel/temp. The harness behind the tach, and the solid green wire. I believe.

alright cool. i can handle that, ill just splice into the green tach wire. as far as power though, is there an acessory terminal on the fuse block, or should i wire that into something else?
