Installing my gauges and ran into a little problem. While checking the wiring harness that the clock plugged into I touched two wires together and blew a couple of fuses. doh! Anyway, I blew one 15amp fuse in the fuse box behind the change holder/storage compartment next to the hood release lever. Replaced it. I found another 20amp fuse in the main relay box under the hood. Replaced it. Everything seems to be working again except for my power windows which are STUCK DOWN. DOH!! Things that weren't working before a replaced the two known culprits are my stereo, AC, and rear lights.
By the way my car's an 05 STi. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Muchos Gracias.

double check your fuse box. If there aren't any blown, then make sure that the one you replaced is pushed all the way in (making good contact). If all of your windows aren't working, then we know it's a main power thing, and not a single switch or wire (which would cause only 1 window not to work).

hope this helps.

cool, I checked all of the smaller ones in both boxes and the larger fuses with a clear top in the main box and they are all ok and properly installed.??

also, sometimes they blow without a visible indication - check all the fuses that are related to the system with a multimeter.

Ok so I am an idiot. I was just about to park my car in my ex-girlfriends garage when for some reason I decided to feel under the dash where the fuse box is. I discovered a loose wiring harness and the realized that I had unplugged it earlier. Plugged it back in and bingo my windows are back online.
