I'm wondering if my wastegate problem is due to my new Stromung Divorced Wastegate Downpipe.

It seems like the wastegate cannot fully open. Attached pics show the wastegate closed, and open as far as it will go. Is this as far as it should open or should it go further???

I think it looks like it could possible open a tiny bit more but does look ok for the most part, anyone else?

I don't know if it looks right but I've heard about some issues with the divorced wastgate that the flapper gets stuck sometimes on the divider or the hole isn't big enough.

it could be the angle of the pic, but it looks as if the wastegate flapper(inside) might be hitting against the divorced pipe side.

last i heard from konvict the problem was fixed. Had a pipe touching the body creating the noise.

Issue has been resolved. Took the pipe out, which was barely touching the frame, and pounded the hell out of the wastegate dump. Made a nice little dent, but it shouldn't make any difference. Seems to be as quiet or quieter with a catless downpipe. Maybe its just me. At least the loud fluttering went away. I assume it still makes the same noise, but it is isolated in the downpipe instead of vibrating throughout the car.
