The IHI VF-34 Turbo is found on the limited production Subaru v7 WRX STI-RA (GDB). This turbo is differentiated from the VF30 through it's more advanced bearing design. The bearing design allows for much quicker turbo spool-up (depending on tuning, 300-500+ RPMs over the VF30), while retaining the power capabilities of the VF30. The VF34 is capable of 350+ HP (~300+whp) This turbo is a direct bolt-on for all GC8, GDA, GDB EJ20 turbo engines. This is an excellent replacement turbo for those looking for substantial power gains while maintaining streetability.

The IHI VF-22 Turbo is found on the older Subaru v3 WRX. This turbo is the largest of the VF-series turbo that we offer. With its significantly increased turbine housing, this turbo is capable of producing upwards of 320 whp. However because of a slightly older bearing design as well as the large turbine housing this turbo spools the latest out of the VF-series turbos that we offer. For this reason, we recommend this turbo for the suby owner that is looking for a high output turbo at a very affordable price.

Yes, we still have that deal going on. However, Helix catted DPs are out of stock for at least 2-3 wks and the turbo heat shield does not fit 04/05 STis.

nekoball - Sorry, nope. We're still waiting for more 3" exhaust gaskets to arrive.
