Small turbo and boost solinoid = tappering boost. 00Maddog 02-17-2005, 06:27 PM I hit higher than 9psi in 1st and 2nd... :confused: I got tired of my mbc, it's been off for about 2 months now, even used stock boost for the last rally. No computer mods yet either, and I hit 13 in 1st thru 5th, but not all the way to redline, about 9-10. I also reinstalled the airline restrictor, as I found that boost response is much smoother with it in place, small end facing away from turbo. That is the stock orientation of the restrictor. Thing is, it only restricts one-way, the way to close the wastegate and build boost, but opening the wastegate is not restricted, allowing the ecm finer control this way. |
