would this work with the APS 3.5" downpipe?

i know whats a divorced down pipe...i'm just not sure whats a bell mouth...i assume that like the aps? where they have a seperate path for the internal wastegate insider the downpipe....

if not how much for a uppipe w/tial and down pipe combo...i have the 3.5" APS TBE so...it has to be something big....

yes these are available now

no it will not work with an APS dp without mods to the downpipe. You need a downpipe with a single 3 inch opening ala HKS, Ultimate Racing, DC Sports.

can you get the models that fit with bellmouth downpipes now on UR's site? why are your prices $10 more then their site? i guess shipping or canada-us stuff eh? Do you carry Tial 44mm gates too?

these are not intended to fit all bellmouth downpipes - the only one it can be ordered to fit is the Invidia, as that is the only that has been test fit to date. The pictures they provide on the site (and which will be on our site tonight) are to give the buyer an idea of the cleance requirements. Frankly, the best solution in our opinion is going with a non bellmouth style, such as HKS, DC Sports, etc, as you will have alot more room to work. Not only are these downpipes not expensive, but since you are going with the external gate, the bellmouth style downpipe provides no benefit to you at that point.

As for prices, ours are actually LESS than going from Ultimate directly, and our shipping costs are usually less as well! We are their biggest volume dealer in the US, so we can afford to keep the pricing as competitive as possible.

I have this setup and it's very nice. I run it with an HKS downpipe. I sold my bellmouth and used the difference to help pay for the wastegate and uppipe. I definitely paid more than this too...

Not unless the ultimate racing uppipe has a three bolt flange like your gtspec headers.

as I said we can easily configure the up-pipe to suit the GT Spec header, as that's the header both Ultimate and we prefer to use :)

Chris - no EGT bung - we recommend doing the 2.2k resistor mod for the factory EGT, or if for aftermarket, the EGT should be fitted to the exhaust manifold

Adam, what would be the cost of the ur kit with a GT30 in a/r of .82 with a -12 center for a sti shipped to 60083 instead of the GT35 which is normally included in the sti kit. If it matters, or there is a difference I would need one that would work with a top mount.

Also what axle back would you suggest, since the down pipe that is supplied will not work with the stock axle back. Something very soft in volume.

the downpipe they use with the kit does fit the stock exhaust, so no worries there. If you want something different, any of the standard cat backs (US Spec) will work as well. Something on the quiet side is the Greddy Evo 2 or the Blitz NUR Spec Touring

wrx03 - no it does not taper, but the holes are slotted, allowing it to bolt up.

hrtpumper - I had PM'd you back but I think it did not go through. I cannot for the life of me see how it would come close to fitting with the TXS downpipe - it is so much bigger at the mouth than anything else. Your best bet IMHO is picking up an inexpensive std type downpipe (like an HKS or DC Sports), either used or new

Well, from what I have searched and found those downpipes will not fit my turbo xs exhaust, since I have tbe. I guess I would need a midpipe and downpipe to fit, and make the turbo xs exhaust and axle back.

Your best bet would be a downpipe that you know fits (HKS is nice and affordable for example), and using what you can of your midpipe, and having the rest fabbed. I don't know of any midpipes sold by themselves for these cars, though maybe someone has an idea
