Even though I'm not an Impreza owner, I did join the group buy for the Lidatec a few months ago. I'm just curious how the other buyers feel about their purchase, especially any stories of it successfully jamming a cop.

I'm not displeased with my purchase, but I have not actually been clocked with laser since I bought the product. However, the unit does false sometimes, typically from glare (especially when following someone with a chrome bumper) and lightning.

I've read great reviews about the Lidatec. I occasionaly get false laser alerts with my V1. Better safe then sorry I guess.

Do these actually work? I read a few different reviews of such technologies online which said that any such attempt was about as successful as holding a mirror up to block the laser.
