Hey guys, i'm sersiously considering a transmission swap from auto. to a 5-speed or even 6-speed transmission.
I know I know...not worth my money says everyone...
But i just bought a '02WRX bought 4 months ago at a great deal, great shape...but auto...and i willing to dish out some money to swap the transmission...
Does anyone have any info about the swap...perhapse someone who's done it, or auto shop who can do it?...parts required?...approx. cost?...approx. downtime for car?...
anything would be great guys!...
Thanks a lot!

Its not worth it. Trust me. I crunched the numbers for a customer last weke to do a 4AT --> 5MT or even the 6MT. Just trade it in.

WRX MT swap with everything could run maybe $4-5kish? STi 6MT swap w/ DCCD installed could run $8-10kish. Ask Pat, he should have the best prices.

We can definitely do it here at Rocket Rally but it is a costly procedure. PM me for more details.
