i am reading some car megazine and found lot of thigns for subaru

but it does not have the word impreza on it.. it do have gc8 on it
what does gc8 stand for?

any thign fit for gc89 wil fit for our car?

GC8 is the chassis code. So in a way yes, stuff for 'GC8' imprezas will fit our cars- that however, doesn't necessarily extend to everything- like body kit stuff for example, might not fit, even if it says it is for a GC8 because JDM rear bumpers aren't the same as ours from year to year.
