This is for a 2002 WRX:

I was wondering if a 3.0H6 or the SVX 3.3H6 would fit in my car. What is needed? - Custom mounts or are the able to be swapped? Wiring? Also, I would eventually like to do this as well as build the engine completely and make it a single or twin turbo, custom setup.

PS-I know someone has done the 3.0 swap on a n older Impreza. And I know it costs money, that's not the issue, even though everything nice costs some bucks.

Why the boxer 6?? The EJ257 is capable of more power and drops right in?? The project you are talking about will cost 25k+ and for no good reason.

If you are that serious about more displacement you could also get one of those diesel Cobb or Axis blocks...

I was just curious. Someone has to do it sooner or later. Someday I will show you!. Till' now, stock WRX. Fine by me. I just think it would be a great proj. someday. And no diesel
