I have the optional subaru short shifter for my 2002 wrx. I'm looking to replace it with an aftermarket short shifter. My question for you all: is there a big enough difference betweetn the subaru short shifter and any aftermarket ones to justifity the cost of a new one. My guess is that there is a difference, but i would like your thoughts. also, what are some of the good aftermarket short shifters out there? thanks everyone!!

Click the top link.:) our shifter is approx 20% shorter than whats in there now. i highly recomend the shifter bushings while your at it.
MAKE SURE you order a shifter for an older style RS or it will not work. this goes for all makes of shifters for your car.
