Using a marker, make a tick mark on the output shaft and one on the input shaft. Turning by hand, count the number of turns needed to move the output shaft once around. 4.44 would be just shy of 4 1/2 turns. 4.11 would by just a bit past 4 turns. Less than four turns would be 3.90 and so on.

Or you could count the teeth on the ring and divide it by the number on the pinion.

What US models have a 4.44 rear?

The Forester XT and Baja Turbo are the only MT5 equipped cars with a 4.44 final drive. There are a few 4EAT's with 4.44 rear differentals.

So basically if I found the differentials of a forester XT or baja turbo, that they would fit in without any other modifications? or am i just dreaming?

Bike, have you crawled under your WRX yet? The front diff is in the transmission. You could get a transmission and rear end from a Forester or Baja and that would work. Or you could tear into your transmission and just replace the ring and pinion. But then where the hell are you going to get a front R&P at a reasonable cost? Its going to be well over $600 at the dealer. Then installing it is a pita. I'd suggest you try and source a used tranny and rear end and then sell your good working tranny and rear end to re-coup the cost.
SIN...Only if they are R160 rear ends. I'm not sure, but I think they are. RWD?
