I went to the wild west rally in western washington last year and saw David Lapworth there, he said it wasn't looking too good but they're keeping a lid on it.

Yeah, in this case no new is not good news. If he was feeling better, he'd be out and about more.

I guess he showed up to some motorsports banquet last month, and was doing pretty good, but was having problems concentrating on things or carrying long conversations. :(

But, he was coqnizant enough to know where he was, who other people were and carry on short-to-moderate length conversations with friends and acquantiances.

Poor Richard. I hope he pulls through this.

Ya, we should keep him in our thoughts and prayers, that's so terrible, it can strike anyone.
