Hey, I saw it today when I was driving by conti after I dropped off my elementary school kids. Someone was driving it and I assumed that they bought it, but I guess they were just putting it in the showroom. I was like, "I didn't know they had any sti's left"

Haha, I was ready to pay $900 a month for the carpayment and the insurance. That's what I would've had to do if I had more credit. Buuuuuut alas, I didn't have enough. JUST a bit more is what I needed I guess.

Maddog and I took a good look at it this evening, he was pointing out all the differences, lets just say, the floor at Cont. is clean enough to lay on cuz it was spotless when I was on my back looking underneith. ;p

When's the '06's arrive? How long does it take to order a STi?

I'm seriously considering waiting a few months and getting a STI instead of a regular WRX. I wish the sti came in red :(

I have to wait till my car sells.. which will be a few months.. I have 5kish right now for a down payment... but in the next few months I could come up with more... So I'd have around 8k to put down. Only thing is getting a good co signer.. or getting approved for the loan.. I have little to no credit.... but I was aiming high.. if I got a 7% interest rate with 8k down... my payments would be around $410ish...Most my friends said with new cars they got like a 2.0 % interest rate... taht would make them around $350... but I also got a quote on insurance.. $300 a month.... So $700 a month for my car is not bad at all considering I'm paying $570 a month right now for the neon..

*ponders*

Shrug , who knows.. I'll probably end up getting the wrx... lol

I like the fact that I could pay like $400ish a month for carpayment and insurance on a WRX... and have tons of mods for it.. instead of having little money for mods on a STi.... Im leaning towards the WRX option. What do you think?

I think the STi would still be faster and get you more pu55y.

Buy what you can afford because its not fun not having any money for other things. There might be something better if you wait.

Really wanting to look into a STi... It is going to be a few months before I get rid of my car... by that time I hope to have 8k to put down. Thing is.. I have no credit.... but I have a co signer with decent credit.. What kind of interest rate do you think I could get...? It all depends on what kind of interest rate I could possibly get .... t hat is the deciding factor on STi or WRX>

rates right now are anywhere from 5.5-6.5 local. your credit history will be based on your cosigner since you have little to no credit. if there history is good no need to worry about getting a highass rate.

I just got a quote on insurance. $257 a month......

Im going to save for a few months and get about $8,000 to put down ... then call up Jack Forbes at the subaru dealer in anchorage.

STi's don't usually hang out at the dealer for a couple months, except when we had 3 blue ones, but good luck!

Think the dealer could order one whenever I get the cash for the downpayment?

Went and looked at the ride today at Contis....D@mna that thing is so tight. The guy kept reminding me that they do 84 month financing now...7 years...OUCH! Don't think I wasn't tempted to go 72 months and drive away though. Sweet ride!

84 month financing now? Jesus.... It'd be nice to do that... and when you get more money pay extra you know?

Wish I was in Anchorage.. I'd take some pictures of it....

Might want to hurry if you want an '05. The sales guy told me next month is the lastest to order a '05.

I guess I'll be ordering a '06 STi before I deploy.
