After visiting another dealership for a brand new '05 Baja 5 sp. turbo and being disappointed with my present car's trade in value and having to eat the residual. I went online to look for a used version. I saw one at Wilmington Subaru, who I didn't even know existed.

Well, I called and spoke to Orfio (no last name needed) and set up a time to see the car. They had the car prepped and ready for the test drive when I arrived... a nasty, rainy night. I got exactly the deal I needed to "off" my 6 month old Hyundai. I got a slightly used '05 Baja 5 speed turbo and gained the same hit as my Hyundai took in trade. Anyway, an hour or so later, I drove out with an almost perfect (5,000 mi) Subaru Baja while saving myself $5K in residuals on the Hyundai. The paperwork was a bit slow, due to a SNAFU by another dealership's error, but they got it straight.

A very, very pleasurable experience. Joe Kelly in the aftermarket department goes above and beyond! How far will a dealership go for you? Let's put it this way, how often have you hugged YOUR car salesman? Thanks Dick Leroux! I'll say, he's a character... it's a shame vaudeville died! Ya gotta love that guy! Love my car! :)

heard some sketchy stuff about wilmington, but when i went, the service was okay after a 20min wait. i didn't buy from there although they gave a rock-bottom price. lower than anyone else could match. they seemed legit and when i went in, they did maintain that price without adding random fees, but the options with installation cost more than other dealerships which was interesting. i ended up paying $300 more to buy from my last dealership (another one) since i knew the guys and knew the excellent service and support they always gave me for my last car which i've had for 3 years.

I just heard something about Patrick Subaru acquiring Wilington Subaru, which will now be known as Patrick Subaru North ? (It was on the radio, and I wasn't paying close enough attention).

I beleive this dealership is located in the old Wilmington Ford site, that used to have a horrendous reputation for fraudulant practices (way back when it was an awefull Ford "Stealership"). While I have never actually delt with Wilmington Subaru, I think Patrick will likely make tremendous improvements in this dealership. I think this is very good news.

Yes, Wilmington Subaru (Carmart Subaru) is now Patrick Subaru North. We opened in the last week of September. This is our 2nd Subaru store in Massachusetts.
