It seems that Inception has scammed quite a few people on NASIOC including me. I am compiling a combined thread for all of his "products" to ensure to everyone gets a chance to come forward if they, too, feel they have been a victim now or in the recent past not a part of this post. I feel this is the case because I did receive many emails and some phone calls from other members regarding Inception. According to Detective Bowden, there is a protocol that must be followed to place our aggregate claims on the priority list. I know your first instinct is to call the Attorney General's office but the report must be filed with the Sheriff first who then forwards the information to the AG with his recommendation. Currently, matters related Inception's sales on NASIOC is a "high priority" with the AG"s high tech crime unit in place but protocol must be followed to gain access to this list.

PROGRESS AS OF 3/3/05:
Our cases have been forwarded to the Attorney General who can be reached at (225)326-6100 - Mr. Terry Alario. I spoke with him and the case is going forward. All of you that has paid money to Kellum and not received a product, please call him.

I spoke with Mr. Alario today. He told me that even though some of you are reluctant to report theft if you have been credited by your CC company or paypal, the matter still remains a crime and is still reportable as a theft on the CC company. If you feel you still want to help the rest of us, please call him.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1) do NOT delete any of your PMs with Inception
2) keep all emails from Inception or
3) Keep all receipts of Money orders, bank transactions, paypal transactions (print them out)
4) (I know its a pain but...) keep or start making a detailed log of events relating to you and inception including all other screen names he used, emails, phone numbers, times and dates, promises, etc. Give law enforcement a succinct story theu can follow and verify through your paperwork.
The sheriff will ask you to fax him copies of everything.

Tried the new #, just rings, no answer, no machine. Doesn't look like it's a cell#, but his home #. Did a reverse lookup by phone # and came up with the following listing:

So we know that he was active at that address up to at least up till Feb 1st the day the package was delivered.

I would trust the reverse lookup of his phone number more than the address you shipped stuff back to him. It might be a buddy's address, or a work address. The phone number with the listing seems more plausible.

PayPal is NoPal - they do business in a very customer unfriendly way. They charge usurious transaction fees but provide less service than credit card issuers to whom they could be compared. Notice that the default transaction is bank account funded. This is because if you fund the transaction with your credit card, you can dispute it and get your money back. PayPal is interested only in providing the lowest level of service while extracting the highest fees -I know this is capitalism but these guys just seem indecent and shady.

The only thing I'm worried about is that they would want me to go testify in court. I'm a college student and even if they were to pay for me to fly down, I have no time in my schedule for that. I'm sure he'll get what he deserves.

The interesting part is that the DOJ will not tell us the exact details or timetables for that exact reason. I and other vics are kept in the dark re: the nitty gritty but the case is going forward. I hope this matter will resolve soon.

I had a trade with Ravenous in Oct. 04. I traded a unichip for a Bose Wave radio. I sent the unichip to the Columbus, MS address on the 1st page. His e-mail is/was rockstar_ms@yahoo.com. He did send me the radio but it was broken. He said it was barely used and it was obiviously not. He said he sent me back my unichip but I never got anything. He stopped replying to e-mails.

I guess I was lucky. I will say he could of tried to sell me other items but he did not. I was looking for a turbo at the time and he had one but it was spoken for supposedly.

I cannot believe this when i started reading here, Im the roommate of Eddie Holiday, the ACCUAL Eddie Holiday who this asshat stole the name of. He moved in with us about 2 months back and had told us that he was needing somewhere to stay while his house was being renovated. He was a ****ing douche who never helped around the house and stole money from Eddie which in turn gave to him before he left for rent. He cut my cable lines to my room and tele and internet cable lines too, then had me convinced it was eddie's girlfriend who also stayed with us. Im still in shock about this whole ordeal. Now my friend eddie is scared he is going to jail because of the identiy theft john has caused. Yes, we live in Columbus, MS and he always hid his subaru, appently its obvious he hid it because it was supposed to be repo'd cus of no payments. OMFG. I personally am going to put my hand through his face when I see him. He always talked so much ****. Right now i have about 4 addresses we are going to check to see if he is there, or if they know. His wife's parents now know about what and who he is and idk if they know yet but people i know at walmart have spotted him two weeks ago so he is still in this area. I will update this when we have more info on him.
