I was wonderng if anyone has had their wheels powder coated? If so, about how much did it cost per wheel and how well is the finish staying on? A friend of mine had has powder coated black and they looked great on the rally blue. Thanks for any info!

i just had my TSW Revos powder coated gold and they look ten times better. it cost me 50$ bucks a wheel. i dont know if your going to get va better deal than that. ask around. im sure you can get a good deal.

... and a year later, they're holding up pretty well. A few rock chips, but nothing bad considering they've been through a Nebraska winter and almost two summers now. They even held up to a crazy Accord driver that sideswiped me (ok, technically I sideswiped her... long story). Just took some bug and tar remover and some elbow grease to take off the rubber that her tires left on my FR wheel.

They're polished 98 RS wheels with clear powdercoat. If you're going to do this, make sure you choose a good place to have it done. See my site (http://www.alltel.net/~et53151/) to see what happens when somebody who really just doesn't care does the job. Click on "Wheels and Tires" in the top frame when you get there.

i've had mine coated for six months and i'm very happy with them. they've seem some gravel roads at speed without a chip.
gold was $75 a wheel - $50 for the color coat and $25 for the clear polyurathane to minimize color fade.

You should do a search. I posted this after I got my wheels done, and others have posted similar results.
