Has anyone had any problems or heard of any with paint on an '05 models. I have orange peel all over the doors and the fenders of my wrx. Only 5 mos old. :-(

if your talking about orange peels, why dont you take them off?

Jmanny152 check the lower part of your doors, Thats orange peel. I have it on my 02 wrx and I bet all wrx has it.
mbrunson. If its down low then its supposed to be like that. Now if its any where on the top parts of the doors or fender then you have your self a problem.

Ok n00b feel the lower part of the door with your hand. Is it as smooth as the top part?

The bottom part is supposed to be like that... Something about being less seceptable to chips and such from chucking rocks...

Now if you have orange peel on your roof/hood/upper pannels, then you have issues.

Orange peel is usually described as being scattered through out the car and over different sections. If you notice, where you see the "orange peel" there is probably and exact straight horizontal line from the front of the car to the rear. It's supposed to be like that. It's a coating to prevent from chips and scratches. Every car has it.
