Well at 11ish today i went in to check out an EVO with ACD, and 2:30ish I was driving it and was techincally the owner, at 9pm i had finally finsihed getting my car back cause i decided it was too close to me working simply so i could own a car. to make a long long story short the deal ended being cancelled and after some debating and court this lawsuit that i ended up being pretty much victorious, as in so far as that I was able to get my car back and not be trapped into the EVO. Monthly payment werent bad at all, but i just couldnt swallow the downpayment in the end for a couple reasons, too bad but it just wasnt going to work to my satisfaction.

techincally, i DID buy and EVO and trade in the WRX but because of some up comming stuff I decided that the payments were gonna be getting close uncomfortable soon, and i backed out of the deal, and since there was some kind of paper work snafu where something didnt get signed i, after some time spent there, killed the deal and got my WRX back. sparky's summary was pretty much spot on.

That's a weak story. Just say you missed your car and wanted the Subaru back. That would make everyone happy. Sorry you couldn't get the EVO, whatever...

It must've been a big down payment I'm guessing ...anyway there is an 03 evo in the want ads for sale you maybe can get that for blue book value and still have your downpayment untouched.... :)

"Mitsubishi Evolution 03. Fast car, very clean, AWD, turbo. $4,000. You take over payment. Call 907-375-0931 ask for Marlon or Roxcelli or please leave a message."

Don't know if you guys know yet. But there is a silver STI at Park and Sell on Old Seward and Dowling. It has 29K miles though. The guy wants 28K. The salesman told me that it was an older in guy in his 30's and his last name was Valentine? Anyways this was on Sunday. The guy let me test drive it, it was tempting, but shoot my car is an '02 and I have 29K miles. Anyways it has a nice alpine deck and 10 in sub or could be 12. Sti lettering was debaged and it was silver on silver.

Do you guys know if the previous owner was on the board? Brian that STI is calling you! HAHA! OH and I met your co-worker...doh I forgot his name though. He's a tall white dude shaved haid w/ a little bit of hair and thin beard.

Damn Brian, was that the silver one at Mitsubishi? Everyone going to the darkside lol. Gald you kept the WRX, I hope you get an STi if that's what you want. Glad everything worked out =)

28k for an STi with 29k miles on it? That's a little too much, unless the value went up? If I were to buy a new car I would wait until fall or wait until next year spring when you have the 2006's coming out or even the 2007's.
