so there was this weird noise coming form the front passanger wheel, so i took my car in and they said the hub, seal and bearing was bad. they said it was not covered because it was caused by "damage". they said if they tryed to submit it to SOA they would be denined the claim. Is what they are saying true or am i getting screwed? it is going to cost $550 to fix. thanks for the help

Why are they saying it was damaged? Did you install different size wheels and tires on your car? Did you have an accident or hit a curb. Find out why they are saying it is "damaged" . It should be covered under your 5/60 powertrain warranty unless it is damaged in some way.

Subaru does call back parts for warranty claims at times and they will be able to tell how it failed. Then, yes, they would deny the claim. But without seeing the part, they would probably never know.

Oh, and $550 is expensive for one side, not bad for two sides.
