View Full Version : What is the proper name for a group of imprezas?
Midwayman 07-18-2001, 04:49 PM Well groups of things have different names
bunch of fish is a school
lots of geese is a gander
several lions is a pride
what do you call a bunch of imprezas?
rogue 07-18-2001, 04:57 PM A bunch of Imprezas all together? Easy!
Imprezzive :D :D :D
Edit: honestly, I've most often seen a group of cars referred to as a "fleet." While this may not be perfect, it sounds better than a herd of Imprezas...
Maybe a "paddy?" ;)
Or a "coven..."
How about a "scooby of imprezas"!
Xander1281 07-18-2001, 05:00 PM Murder of Crows
Crash of Rhinos
Unkindness of Ravens
Some that you may have never heard.
Doc Jared & RubySue 07-18-2001, 05:11 PM When I see numerous vehicles of the same make, I remark...
"Look, its a caravan of imprezas."
Or in most cases, its a dozen jagoffs with Excursions or Explorers. Or Civics.

fungo phil 07-18-2001, 05:48 PM How about a Clutch of Imprezas?
Overtime 07-18-2001, 06:11 PM I like flight best out of those choices, but clutch is good too, even for us auto guys.
Zahnster 07-18-2001, 06:15 PM an awkwardness of Imprezas
Pat Green 07-18-2001, 06:20 PM I think "Pack" is most appropriate. Especially the way they circle their prey before devouring.:D
Buttsy 07-18-2001, 06:43 PM I thought you were looking for the plural of Impreza. Would it be Imprezi? Impreza?
"What a swell looking clutch of Imprezi!"
"What a swell looking boxer of Impreza!"
"What a swell looking awkwardness of Imprezas!"
Safir 07-18-2001, 06:49 PM Actually it's a Gaggle of geese ;) gander is a male goose
EZdoesit 07-18-2001, 07:08 PM I'd say it would be fleet, but that's not in the voting, this is a write-in then I guess :)
fleet? are they boats? :)
Giamilton 07-18-2001, 08:37 PM I like the post that used "scooby"
like look there is a whole scooby of impreza's
the scooby of impreza's cut the weak from the herd and closed in for the kill.
The alpha male leads the scooby to a new feeding grounds.
sweet
OBTW
I was at walmart, they have scooby-doo floor mats for 19.95
they arent a perfect fit , a little on the big side but look really fun.
I got me a pair to save my WRX floor mats which are already wearing poorly after only 700 miles
adhowe70 07-18-2001, 08:44 PM Pack. But only in slick conditions. We're a little less menacing on dry tarmac.

Streetman 07-20-2001, 07:08 AM OH MY GOD!
It's a swarm. I can't believe you all didn't know this. This shouldn't be a poll. Swarm is exactly what it is, it's proven. Sheesh.
Hey, what's a word for people who are flabbergasted by other people who didn't realize the term for a group of imprezas was swarm?
Revision 07-20-2001, 11:25 AM You're all NUTS.
The proper term is
A cadre of Subari.
cad·re
Pronunciation: 'ka-"drA, 'kä-, -drE; esp British 'kä-d&(r), 'kA-, -dr&
Function: noun
Etymology: French, from Italian quadro, from Latin quadrum square -- more at QUARREL

Frank 07-20-2001, 02:36 PM it should be "There goes a Quart of Pork Fried Imprezas!!"
2.5GT 07-20-2001, 02:42 PM I'd say it was a "subie meet."
