I am looking to buy a 2005 wrx in the next two months. I know I want to get heated seats and moonroof, but I am looking to pay no more than $25000 out the door.
Any suggestions to dealers that offer good prices and service?

All right not getting the responces I was hoping for. So where else can I post on this forum to get responces?

I am in Virgina. Wehn I went shopping for and STi, I got good prices from Tischer, paul Brothers (who was the source of my WRX and whom I got tjhe STI and a legacy GT for my wife).

I suggest you go their websites and ask for a quote on what you want. You avoid all fo the hassle and they ahve to give competitive prices or they don't get your business. I ahve been doign that (prior to the Internet via Fax) for 15 years..

I've never bought from annapolis Subaru, but I've stopped by a few times & they have always seemed great. I have used their service Dept. and it's top notch.

If you are willing to make the trip I bought from Frostrom Subaru on the eastern shore. It's probably 1.5 hrs. from you. The place is a bit of a hole-in-the-wall, but they are nice folks and gave me a good deal without any hassling. If you are interested PM me and I'll find the name of the sales rep I worked with, he was awesome. When I bought the car I asked if I could have a WRX poster. He said sure, but I never heard back from him and thought he forgot. Then when I went in for my first service he was waiting for me to come with a poster in hand. It's the little things like that, that really make a difference to me.

I second this ^ We just bought a new Outback XT Limited today from Jones'. This is the second car we've bought from them, I bought my WRX here. We got our new car for $100 under invoice, no hassles, and great service department. It would be worth the drive for you.....

I poted a message undner dealers about fitgerald. A person I flagged races with was a mechanic at fitgerald dodge. he walked oujt int he middle of a job because they ordered him to tella woman that repairs that were covered under warranty weren't covered udner warranty.

Thnjere are a number of chains in the DC area that I will NEVER deal wit regardless of price. I had myh own run-in with Brown Mazda (tore up my depost check and stormed out. We ahd agreed on a price and they changed it. They also wanted me to sign papers without ever ahvign the total price.) I had rotten service on my RX-7 Twin Turbo from the Rosenthal Mazda.

The reputations of these comapies are well deserved. Don;t discount them.

I got my 03 WRX really cheap at Annapolis Subaru.

And the 05 Legacy GT Limited from Herb Gordon in Silver Spring.

I don't show one dealer's quote to another. Let them give me the best price they will, not one that is just a little better than the other.

I lease my cars (05 STI and 05 Legacy GT Ltd) and I jsut ask for the rpice. Usually theya re within a few dollars of each other.

That is exactly what I did in NY. I called Fitzmall, spoke to the Mgr., made sure he had the car, printed it out and went to my local dealer. Local guy said "There is no way they are selling it for that". I said, no problem, I will hop on a train and buy it down there. 2 minutes later, I was signing papers for a few hundred less than Fitzmall. Sent a co-worker in to do the same thing. :lol:

I actually bought my 04 XT from Russell Motor cars on rt 40 in Baltimore and they where great.

However, I go to Annapolis Subaru for maintance and they are very professional and courteous.
