I'm looking at getting some tickets for the USGP. I missed last year and 2002, but I've gone every other year and just gotten a general admission ticket and parked myself in basically the same spot in the middle of turn 9. Anyways, I was thinking about getting tickets for the corner 6 terrace since it would be nice being able to walk around more race morning and seeing a different part of the course would be nice. The only downfall is that it is another 55 bucks a ticket over the general admission prices I've been paying previously.
Did anyone sit there last year and see how good it was? Can anyone compare it to sitting in the infield on race day? Thanks.

Sorry, I was at the NW Vista when I was there two years ago, which were great seats, and before that terrace was being added. It does seem like you'd have a good, close view of the cars from there, but like I said, they weren't there the last time I was there, so I didn't get to check them out :)

I've been down to that area of the track but never been to the corner 6 seats. I will definately check them out this year.
Bonzo & Co just roams except for Saturday afternoon qualifying we sit in the penthouse stands with the mild mannered Columbians.
We also buy Fri/Sat tickets at the track for face value($25 total) and buy scalped tix for Sunday. We usually get Sunday's for less than $40.
USGP has the least expensive tickets for any motorsports event I attend.

Unfortunately I don't think I'm a gonna make it again this year, Bonz. Have a graduation party to go to. :(
By the time I get back to the USGP they'll be driving FWD four-banger cars with engines that have to last three months.

3 months! Yabut, they can pull out early and do a tire change. Those 75 series 13 inch all seasons really grip when new.
