My Impreza WRX purchase got seriously pushed back to late summer/early fall, at best, so I'll be getting an 06. Anyway, one of the things that bugged me about hte 05s is that I want the cold weather gear (heated mirrors, seats, wipers), but I'm too tall for the moonroof, ESPECIALLY if I'm wearing a helmet for track days. Soo..... think they'll sell 'em separately this year, or leave 'em in the damned "premium package"?

I have no idea. My gut feeling is that we may see this stuff offered on the WRX wagon this year, at least I hope so. They may very well tweak the content of these packages. I know Subaru is constantly wrestling with content vs. price, so maybe some of these features will become stand-alone options, just to keep prices down.

I would love to special order an STI. The only reason I didn't go with one yet is because of the interior (blue seats, blue carpets, and steering wheel), the wing, the rims, and the absence of a sunroof/moonroof option. Let me change them and I would definately pay the difference.

If you ever want to buy an STi ask a dealer to swap the trunk with a WRX, I am sure they would be more than happy to do that at no charge. After all, they could then mark-up that WRX with the STi wing and make more cash.

I think if you put some black mats in the STi it really tones down the blue. Whats wrong with the steering wheel??

U can come to Canada to buy. All the WRX comes with cold weather pkg. No matter with sun roof or without. cheers.

I'd given consideration to it, but it comes out to be FAR too expensive, and totally not worth it.

I agree with the moonroof/helmet problem. When I autocross I have to drive with my head almost in the center of the car and have the moonroof open. :mad:


Oh well, it's only a problem once out of the month for 6 months.
