hey guys. i tried a search and came up with nothing so please help =P ..
i currently have a 95l and want to drop in an ej20g .. so far my options are either use a link ecu or stock ecu. if i go the link route i just want to know how reliable it is. all i want is 300 whp and i want it as relaible as possible. I live in nj so weather is always changing. I hear getting the link ecu to run the motor is easy whille wiring the stock ecu is up in the air. please help!

I've not had any issues other than it starts a little harder in the winter.

As for as wiring, I had an adapter harness made.

'96 Brighton Ed.
The place I got the link from made the harness out of an ECU I sent them.
I don't think that place still sells Links.

I don't think I'll be back in NJ, the closest I'll be coming to it is NYC and most likely that would be in my other car. It idles smooth, but a little high....could just be my settings since it's never been tuned.

another question..if you have an ej20g w/o the full harness can the link ecu replace the missing wires? or do i still need the harness

yup
hopefully you have the engine harness with the tps/cam/crank/watertemp/injector plugs

start looking at the sand rail shops they will make a complete harness for you ..
