if i want to run 100/80w bulbs, how would i make a new wiring harness and relay for the stock headlights? do i just have to run new thicker wire everywhere, or what's the deal?

if it's better to just stick with 55w, i'll do that, but if it's cheap and simple to upgrade all the wiring, i figure it's worth a shot in order to get rid of voltage drop...

There are a couple places that sell upgraded harnesses pre-made.
I've done a fair bit of electrical stuff and if I had all the junk to make one, I could make a passable harness...I'd rather buy one, though.

A good set of 55/65w bulbs with a good harness should yeild visibly better than stock results....the 'other' bulbs, other than being illegal, many times are just not worth it.

I'd MUCH rather have a GOOD set of fogs AND driving lights than 110/80w bulbs...

I bought the stuff to make mine from daniel stern. It's a pretty good kit.

Here's pics of my setup.
