I have installed a TT on a WRX (blitz with boost guage). That was simple...But, I have no idea where/how to run the vaccuum tube from the passenger compartment to the engine bay on an '05 STi :/

The WRX had a nice little grommet just above the pedals that I was able to poke a hole in...I see a "deep dish" grommet near the clutch pedal on the STi...should I use that? Arghh...is there a better way?

Also, since I am here...can i just plug in the harness/TT like on the WRX (not gonna mess with security system bypass). Answers to any of these questions ASAP would be much appreciated. (Yes, I did a search)
Thanks a ton!

Well, I did not manage to get it all done last night :( but I was able to figure it out this afternoon :D The turbo timer itself and the harness work great. I have not connected the vacuum tube for the boost guage yet but I will be doing that shortly. Also, the grommet works!

On an '05 STi, there is a small grommet behind the clutch pedal that plugs a hole through the firewall into the engine bay. It comes out pretty high, and is in a slightly difficult spot to access, but it is there. The hole on the engine side is just above one of the frame beams that runs parallel to the vehicle's front facing orientation. I think one could use the metal steering tubes as reference points.

Later today, I will throw the boost guage on there (yes, I went to Checker Auto and bought a better fitting 'T' joint for the vac tube). I'm gonna do the whole 'install with pics' thing somewhere so I'll give all the details then.
