I just got the Apex'i Auto Timer with harness (no idea where the harness came from since this was used)... how do you install this thing? I'm a total noob when it comes to electronics.
I did find a guide on scoobymods bu(http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2055) but its for a 2004... actually this guy wrote this in July 2003, how could he have had a 2004 that early?.. anyways are the ECU's different, because I have a 2005 WRX? He doesn't have a pic of the ECU wires so I'm afraid to splice the wrong things.
I've never touched wiring before so I need some step by step especially with lots of pictures for anything wiring related, especially when it deals with the ECU.... Thanks!

I just have to ask.....Do you know that your car dosen't need a TT, and installing one MAY cause you all sorts of other issues up to voiding of the warranty on the electrical system of your car???

WRX's don't need one when running a watercooled turbo, the car cools the turbo after shut down, FYI. Waste of time money and warranty if yours is still valid anyway. But sell it on Ebay you will better off.

Don't most turbo's have water lines? Its the oil that stores the heat and hot oil stopped in the turbo is what causes damage over time... turning off the car shuts off the water pump anyways. So even if the water did cool down the turbo, its a moot point when the car is off.

The stock turbo is efficient at cooling itself, because thats the way SUBARU Engineers designed it, they took the hassle away from the consumer.
Again, you don't need it unless you install a oil cooled turbo only.
