We'll be visiting Maui and Hawaii in July. My wife is a geologist and will no doubt want to show me some volcanoes up close, but I hear that the car rental companies are not too keen on the idea of folks driving their vehicles up there. Just how bad are the high tracks and would we have any AWD options?
