yes and not very hard at all. I think all you need are 2 14mm wrenches and that's it. well that's what I needed with mine.

Get a set of ramps and wheel chocks. It'll be so much easier...especially for the midpipe.

I don't know about you, but I tried to install it with no car lift. It was extremely hard, considering my head kept on getting stuck on some parts underneath the car. Yes, sounds like a funny situation, but not for me!! LOL

So I'm sure you can do it, with some time, elbow grease and if you have a smaller head than mine. haha

All I used was the E-jack and socket wrench. It was crampt under there though! You'll probably need new gaskets too.

just jack up the driver side. if you cant get good leverage on the bolts put the socket wrench in a good position and hit it with a hammer. ive changed exhausts using only 1 jack.

A $30 set of ramps from autozone or their ilk will make the task much easier.

<laughing hysterically>
(in wrx commercial voice) "now that's the beauty of forester clearance" I just rolled under my car, unbolted the 2 that connect behind the cat, then unhooked the hangers and dropped the entire unit off the car...slid the Rallispec setup in (on ground cloth) hung the midpipe, bolted it up then hung the rear section and connected the v-coupler and off I went!

SubaTubaru, did you install a midpipe too or just muffler? I don't think you need to jack it for just muffler.
