question for some of the tuning gurus here.

anyone that has experience with ecutek's degrees of adjustability, how does the streettuner look in comparison?

I'd like to follow up with this question. Say you have the EcuTek tuned for 93 octane...could you fill up with 100 octane and gain the benefits of this, or are you stuck with the 93 Octane map?

A: should be the same as they are modifying the same peramiters

B:yes to a point the advance will only advance to a certin point then noting and a/f targets won't change

It is my understanding that there is no user tunability with the ecutek. I have ecutek on my car and it is great for me as I know enough to blow something up. I heard that the user map selector/tuner ability is not available yet but don't know when it will be. you can check out www.ecutek.com for more specifics on their system.

Nope, says nothing about user tunability or the ability to switch maps. Only that the Delta Dash can collect and display data for you that a qualified/certified ecutek tuner can use to tune the ecu for you.

The tuning and map switching appear to be available for some cars...

yes, should have clarified.
i am only concerned with degree of adjustability for the 'tuner' not for the 'user'
