i recently went to put on my hazard lights and they dont work. the only thing i can think of is that i had to remove my factory foglights to get my fmic to fit. is it possible that the wires are in series with the fog wires? anyone able to help?

Perhaps you blew a fuse while working with the foglights? Have you checked the fuse boxes?

i didnt check the fuses but i thought they would be okay since all i did was unplug them. i will check that. any other suggestions.

the foglights are not in series with the hazards, however on a 2003, the hazards are in series with the turn signals... for instance if you don't have the hazard button plugged in, the turn signals won't work. do your turn signals work? if not, the button's probably unplugged.

check your fuses and make sure the button's plugged in, these two things are the "forehead slap" solutions... if it's not one of these, you'll have to do some hardcore diagnosis.

if you're under warrenty, i'd take it to a dealer.

well the turn signals work. thats been the part i cant figure out. the car is under warranty but i've been trying to stay away from the dealer since all the mods. but if i cant figure it out then i might take it. but still gonna try for a simple solution.

too bad, the dealer is pretty mod friendly where i go to school-

you'd have to show up with four bottles of nitrous, a GT35R, and a blown head gasket for them to even think about warranty issues.

and even then they'd probably give you a pat on the back before they barked at you for wanting warrenty work.


for instance... my grounding mod was done to the specs of one of the threads on here- but a really helpful and awesome mechanic there(jeff, i think) told me what was wrong(two wires should have been engine-chassisground instead of chassisground-negative terminal) instead of giving me crap for it.

he did give me crap about my duct-taped ganzflow though- :lol:
