Thanks. -carl psuknak05 04-18-2005, 11:52 AM nah, I did mine with a full tank... just make sure you cover the hole with something while you have the pump out, or the fumes are a little rough. skunkfifty 04-18-2005, 11:56 AM and when you're doing the job at it, don't take a smoke break. mar1asynger1 04-18-2005, 02:42 PM Word, install was wicked easy, The harderst part was getting the hoses disconnected. One step closer to finishing my turbo kit. Should be boosted within a couple of weeks. FQ320 04-18-2005, 02:53 PM I know on the evo you have to drop the tank to change the fuel pump, which means taking the bracing off and all sorts!!! it's going to be stressful. Is it relatively easy on the scooby then? I'm going to have an ECUtec remap soon, so might need to fit an uprated fuel pump TheMadScientist 04-18-2005, 04:53 PM I know on the evo you have to drop the tank to change the fuel pump, which means taking the bracing off and all sorts!!! it's going to be stressful. There is a plate held in with 4 screws just behind the back seat. The fuel pump and sender is right under that plate. I know on the 02-05 the plate is on the right side of the car when sitting in it. It is a very easy job just make sure you seat the rubber seal corectly or you will get a CEL. TMS |
