iam going to buy a set of piaa h3 fog light bulb this is the new ion crystal it has a amber and yellow look for $55 buck do you guys think it is worth it i also have silverstar head light with i love they are the best please tell me what you think should i buy them,going tommorow help please.....thank you tim

Although the PIAA H3 Ion Crystals look nice and put out good light (I have them currently), I think they're a bit overpriced. Most lighting fanatics on here will suggest getting Narva Golds or the Osram All-Weather bulbs. I personally will go with one of those when my PIAAs blow. As far as your low beams goes, you may want to look into the Osram Silverstars when your Sylvanias blow. Depending on what your preferences are, the Sylvania Silverstars are more on the look side instead of performance, since the bulbs themselves are slightly coated with blue tint to give you the whiter look. Nothing wrong with that if that's what you want. Just wanted to point out that Osram Silverstars and the fog bulbs I mentioned above will give you better performance/output on the road ;)

BTW - the PIAAs Ion Crystals have lasted a little over two years for me, but I hardly ever turn them on - only during inclement weather here in FL :)

i don't think the Osrams will work for him, AFAIK, they aren't available in 9007, which the 2002/2003 WRXs are.

yeah if you are interested in saving a bit of cash....there are other yellow bulbs out there.

Hank mentioned the osram all weathers and the narva golds, but there are also Hella Yellowstars....i just got 4 bulbs for a little over 25 shipped from www.Rallylights.com

i had these in my GC8 fogs and loved them. i am currently running them in my headlights. and i have the 4 bulbs coming in for the hella 500's i have and the Optilux 1100 i am getting.

+1 for Hella Yellowstars and www.rallylights.com. At $6 a bulb you can't lose. :D

However, PIAA Ion Crystals are excellent bulbs. I had them and they lasted me a year with everyday use (about 1-2 hours a day on my daily drive to/from work). If you're really trying to save $$$, get the Hella bulbs, but we won't fault you if you want to "splurge" and try out the PIAA ion crystals. :)

i have the H3 osrams in my foglights and they're bright ALOT. i can drive with just those at night.

i got them and put them in today they look good really bright they have a amber look to them also i have the siver stars as my headlight love them to death thank for the input maybe when these blow i will get a cheapper ones
