CRXguy 04-20-2005, 12:55 AM Search for wagons_ho! spike 04-20-2005, 05:43 PM I had one similar to the adapter cc-b sells/sold, then I purchased one from wagons_ho, way better. You don't have to use the vampire clips at all, simple plug and play. Vostok 7 04-20-2005, 07:01 PM Just a minor warning on all plug and play harnesses, the female 9007 connector SUCKS MAJOR @$$. Trust me. I'm tearing apart mine and hardwiring it because those things are a piece of junk. That said, I have the CC-B vampire plug n' play harness and I had the vampire taps melt on one side and had to hard wire that end. I'm guessing this is because I had an automotive electric company figure out how to get my highbeams on with my lowbeams and they hard wired that end of one side togeather, and I think it overheated the vampire taps on the other side from the cleaner voltage. Had I known about Wagons_ho I would have gotten his harness, since I bought his leveller harness and it's a piece of art. Either way, I'm ripping off those female 9007 connectors and just hardwiring the sucker. I'm tired of them deciding not to work sometimes  The moral of my rant: Plug and play sucks, just bite the bullet and hardwire the sucker. Patrick sevendhappy 04-20-2005, 08:36 PM I use the CC-B harness and haven't had any problems with connectivity. I heard vampire clips were bad to use so I never used those. I also made a relay harness to power my main headlights through the battery and my hi-beams through the stock wiring so that I can operate them both at the same time. Mulder 04-20-2005, 08:40 PM Vampire taps should never be used on headlights, or any other high-current or environmentally exposed application. All connections within the harness should be either soldered or crimped, and fully sealed and insulated with heat shrink. skivdz 04-20-2005, 08:42 PM Vampire taps should never be used on headlights, or any other high-current or environmentally exposed application.
