Dyno-Comp Inc, Racing for the Children, and Subaru of America take on the 21st running of One Lap of America (April 30 – May 7): 9 States, 12 Tracks, 20 Events and 3600 Miles!
Subaru of America, as the title sponsor, has teamed up with Dyno-Comp, Inc. and Racing for the Children to enter their 580HP 2004 Subaru WRX STI in to the 2005 TireRack Cannonball One Lap of America Presented by “Car and Driver”.
Racing for the Children was formed by Enrique Ramirez in 1999 to raise money and awareness for the Save the Children organization. Save the Children of the United States is a nonprofit, nonpolitical, nonsectarian organization working in more than 35 nations around the globe. It works to create real and lasting change in the lives of children in need. This is the 5th One Lap of America event for Racing for the Children. Racing for the Children is extremely happy to have Subaru of America, Dyno-Comp, Inc, Hospice Family Care, Inc and many other individuals supporting their cause.
Dyno-Comp, Inc is Arizona’s premier tuning facility. Dyno-Comp, Inc specializes in 2WD & AWD Dyno tuning, sale and installation of race proven bolt-on competition components that provide the ultimate in performance, handling, and appearance. Dyno-Comp, Inc has over 15 years of experience tuning and building high performance street and track cars.
Dyno-Comp’s experience shows in the remarkable job they have done with the race preparation of the team’s 2004 Subaru WRX STI. With over 580HP, Tein fully adjustable suspension, Air Power Systems DR55 rotated turbo, upgraded Brembo brakes and many more modifications, it will be extremely competitive, not only in their class, which is Mid-Priced Sedans, but for the overall honors.
Richard Garcia, president and co-founder of Dyno-Comp, will be sharing track driving duties with Enrique Ramirez, while their third team member, Neil Nash, will provide assistance with the transit sections.
