I just had my friend adam wire up my digital gauge cluster from an RS my car is a 94 L with a 94 WRX trans. he told me that he's seen an converter that you plug up to the analog cable and it'll convert the signal to digital for the RS mph to work. soo right now my car is running on limp mode and no mph soo help a guy out do u know where I could get one?

Why not wire in a speed sensor from the RS and go totally away from the cable setup? You might have issues anyways with that box your talking about. On the cars with speedo cables, the computer gets it's speed sensor signal from the gauge itself (The speed sensor is part of the Speedometer where the cable hooks into the cluster). I think you would have better luck if you got the speed sensor and the wiring from an any legacy 1995 or newer, or any impreza 1998 or newer. Just make sure the sensor and wiring come from the same car. It shouldn't be that hard to wire in.

already tried it it screws in but thats all it'll do. I have an 01 parts car and I used that speed sensor but I screwed it in and wired it up and it does nothing
